The programmes

Three disciplines. One promise: you finish something.

from first beat to release-ready

ITools across every programme

Every programme is built around making real music. Choose the discipline that fits, then the pathway that meets the student where they are. All three run in person or online, using industry-standard tools.

IIITechnology requirements
  • A normal classroom is enough, no dedicated music technology suite is required.
  • A display or projector at the school for me to present.
  • A laptop or computer per student (their own, shared, or school-provided).
  • Free Ableton Live Lite licences for the whole class, provided by me.
  • Where it helps, I bring audio interfaces and microphones at no extra cost.
  • Headphones and MIDI keyboards are useful where the school can provide them.

IVOnline delivery

Online delivery

All programmes are also available fully online. Sessions are delivered live with real-time interaction and professional audio workflows, so students can share high-quality audio directly from their production software. This format is already used in private mentoring for music production, songwriting and composition. One-to-one online tuition is also available for individual students.

VITeaching philosophy

From the classroom to the industry.

The aim is simple and ambitious: to help students think creatively, develop their own artistic identity, and understand how music is genuinely created, produced and shared in today's industry, from a primary pupil's first composition to a university student preparing for a professional career.

Create first, explain later

Students begin by making music from day one. Theory and terminology are introduced when they become useful tools for understanding and developing ideas the student is already creating intuitively.

Real tools, real workflows

Students work with the same software and production workflows used throughout the music industry, including Logic Pro, Ableton Live and professional recording and production techniques, rather than simplified classroom alternatives.

Identity over imitation

The goal is not to copy a genre or reproduce trends. It is to help each student discover and develop their own artistic voice, while building the technical and creative skills needed to express it confidently.

Finish the work

Every programme is designed around a clear outcome, helping students move beyond sketches and loops towards completed compositions, polished productions and, where appropriate, release-ready work.

I believe students learn music most deeply by creating it. My aim is to help them become active creators, developing the skills, confidence and independence to make music of their own.
